Hola.

No new pictures to post.

I recently moved bases and I do not really like this new place...but I'm leaving for Lioness tomorrow anyway so it doesn't matter! OH and tomorrow is exactly three years since I graduated bootcamp!!!

So all of next week is training for Lioness. (Im really excited...excpet for the cold) I will be out of pocket and unable to call/email or anything...after that I'm not 100% sure how it will go.

But I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving...hopefully I will be able to call for Christmas!!! Eat lots of deliciousness for me...I will be chowing down on yummy MRE's...bleh.

Re-enlistment. Im in the Marine Corps until 2013!

Doha City Tour - Day 4

2 Nov 08 - The City Center Mall in Doha. It is four stories AND has an ice skating rink!

1 Nov 08 - We had dinner at the USO and I ordered a cheeseyburger with fries and ALAS it comes with a side of coleslaw...I didnt know that a side of coleslaw actually meant one spoonfull...

1 Nov 08 - Another shot of the city. The pyramid shaped building is a Sheraton Hotel...the only 5 star hotel in Doha. I like the clouds.

1 Nov 08 - Of course you KNOW i had to get some flip flops. I bought these flip flops at the store with the Kangaroo Shoes and they are made out of yoga mat!!! They are the most comfortable things that I have ever stepped on!

1 Nov 08 - Out on the boat again...but instead of just a cruise we are doing WATERSPORTS! hooray! This is me on the boat with the city of Doha in the background. P.S. The water is REALLY REALLY salty...like a ridiculous amount of salty.

I don't know what date this was...it was before I left for Qatar...Momma, Lance and Andy made me this festive Holiday box thing...So I made sure I got a picture with it before I had to throw it out :O(

The USO had a costume party that night..but none of us had costumes (duh we're deployed!) haha but it was fun and I had Chili Cheese fries that were delicious.

31 Oct 08 - On Halloween I went on a Dhow Cruise. Dhow is the old style of Arabian boat...we went out..anchored...swam..ate lunch..and came back...it was nice. This is some of the buildings in Doha, Qatar. All of these buildings have been built within the past 3 years!!!

30 Oct 08 - Driving back from the Inland Sea Picnic...I feared for my life...they drive like crazay! Also, there are hardly any red lights just turnabout circle things...the vehicles pull out into traffic so that they can see whether it's safe to go or not..haha. YIELD TO CAMEL SIGN!
